This explains what victims face in sexual abuse situations. The attitude that the powerful abuser cannot be doing something wrong. The victim must be misunderstanding the abuser’s intentions. Those in power do not want to know the horrific truth. The lesson is that when those in power ignore you, then you must tell the world. Someone has to act and do something to stop the monster. Do not give up or give in. You are saving yourself and someone else because abusers do not stop at one victim.
