Two people are in critical condition following a head-on collision early Wednesday on Illinois 16 about a mile east of Nokomis, Illinois State Police said.Max Heintz, 20, of Witt was driving westbound on Illinois 16 shortly before 6 a.m. when his vehicle crossed the center line and struck another car head on, state police said.The other driver was identified as Janece Neunaber, 61, of Mattoon.Both drivers were extricated from their vehicles and taken to HSHS St. John’s Hospital in
