Don’t Forget to Ask Your Doctor for an Off Work Slip

When you are injured on the job and unable to work you are entitled to payment, however you must prove that you supposed to be off work.

The most straight forward method of proof is an off work note from your doctor.

Make a copy of your note and get it to your insurance company.

This will entitle you to payment of temporary total disability benefits while you are off work.

Each time you visit your doctor you should ask for an updated off work slip.
